Managing Your Cluely Subscription: Switching Plans and Requesting Refunds

Please go to https://app.cluely.com/settings/billing or open your desktop app, hover over your profile > click Billing to manage your billing. Here you can monitor your free vs. pro plan. If you are seeing multiple past due charges, please update your payment method or cancel your subscription.

Support cannot subscription actions directly out of privacy. Fortunately the billing portal above will take you to stripe where you have full control over your subscription.

Cluely offers flexible subscription options and clear policies for switching plans and handling refunds. This guide explains how you can manage your subscription, transition between plans, and understand the refund policies in place.

Switching Subscription Plans

Upgrading from a Monthly to an Annual Subscription

Currently, Cluely does not offer a direct upgrade option from a monthly to an annual subscription. To switch:

  1. Cancel your existing monthly subscription through your billing settings after the current month ends.

  2. After cancellation, you can purchase an annual subscription.

Note: If you'd like to use a different payment card for the annual plan, you'll need to create a new Cluely account with a different email address and purchase your annual subscription that way.

Switching from a Yearly to a Monthly Plan

Once you have been charged for a yearly subscription, it is not possible to switch to a monthly plan during the active period of your annual subscription.

Changing Plans Before the Current Period Ends

You cannot immediately switch from an active monthly to an annual plan or vice versa before the current billing period ends. New subscriptions can only be purchased after the current subscription period is complete. ,

Refund Policies

Refunds for Canceled Subscriptions

To cancel your subscription and request a refund, fill out the refund request form provided by Cluely (https://form.typeform.com/to/t6GijXc1). Upon submitting this form, your subscription will be canceled immediately, and your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

Unsupported Use Cases

Cluely does not provide refunds for use cases that are not supported by the software, such as integration with specific third-party software like LockDown Browser. Please refer to Cluely’s Terms of Service for more details.

Refunds Based on Expectations

Refunds are typically not provided if the software is functioning correctly but does not meet user expectations. Instead, Cluely may offer product optimization sessions to better align the software with your needs.

Payments Applied to Other Plans

Subscription charges cannot be retroactively applied toward other plans or merged between plans due to Cluely’s auto-renewal policy. To switch plans, you must cancel your existing subscription and subscribe to a new plan after the current billing period ends.

General Terms and Conditions

  • Subscription payments are non-transferable between plans or accounts.

  • Refunds are granted only in compliance with specific policies, such as cancellation requests through the refund form.

  • All subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default, as disclosed during checkout and in the Terms of Service. ,
